BELC News:
Free movies on alternate Friday nights are being offered by Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2390 North Road in Los Alamos (near Mountain Elementary School).
The first movie is tonight, July 2. The movie is called “Soul” (rated PG) and is an animated film from the Pixar Studio, depicting a jazz musician’s search for his true passion here on earth.
The movies will be shown outside in the church courtyard starting at 8:20 p.m., as darkness descends. Seating will be outside under the stars, in a safe, socially distanced way. Please plan on arriving at the church no later than 8:10 p.m. to find a seat. You can bring your own camp chairs and blankets, or use chairs from the church.
If it is rainy, the movie will be shown in the church’s fellowship hall. Space is limited to 75 people so sign up for a spot on the Sign-up Genius website: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0448adad29a1f94-movies
Several more movies are planned for July, including:
- July 16 – Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse; and
- July 30 – The Princess Bride.
Additional movies may be shown in August, if there is enough interest.
There is no entrance fee. Everyone is welcome!
