During a recent safari hunt, a bear is spotted trying to hide in plain sight laying on top of a bird feeder at a residence on 41st Street. Los Alamos Public Schools recently launched the Safari Hunt for Kids and it is growing fast across the community. This activity is similar to a scavenger hunt. With a large portion of the world’s population now living under lockdown to contain the coronavirus, this type of Safari Hunt activity is popping up all over the world. The ‘hunters’ try to spot as many stuffed animals as they can find in people’s windows, yards, trees, on fences or bird feeders.
