Be Alert For Emergency-Preparedness Exercise At Lab May 29

LANL News:

On Wednesday, May 29, the Lab will conduct an exercise to test the preparedness of personnel who would respond in the case of an actual emergency. The exercise will last approximately five to six hours, beginning at 9 a.m. The event is only an exercise.

Some elements of this exercise may be observable to the public, so please be aware of possible unusual activity, which may include increased emergency vehicle traffic and “exercise in progress” signage in or near affected areas such as the Los Alamos Medical Center.

The Emergency Management Division works closely with the Lab and participating local organizations to keep employees and the community apprised of real or simulated emergency exercises.
