Azazo Recycling to Open on Orange Street

Azazo Recycling, LLC announces the coming of a recycling facility to the Los Alamos County area.

 

The facility will be open by mid-June at 3540 Orange St., LV1, behind Los Alamos High School. Azazo Recycling, LLC plans to take in electronic waste (e-waste) and non-ferrous metals from the public for recycling.

 

Electronic waste includes items such as computers, laptops, monitors, TVs and cell phones. Small appliances also will be accepted at the site including microwave ovens. Larger appliances inluding washer, dryers and refridgerators will not initially be accepted.

 

Non-ferrous items that will be accepted include aluminum wire, aluminum cans, insulated wire, copper wire 1 and 2, brass, stainless steel, sealed batteries and small amounts of clean and dirty aluminum. 

 

Azazo Recycling, LLC also intends to earn R2 or e-Stewards Certification. Contact owner Brian Kelley at 505-500-0569.
