Staff Report

The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos hosted its second annual wine dinner fundraiser Saturday night at the Dixie Girl Restaurant.

The event theme “Autumn in Tuscany” featured an elegant five-course gourmet meal paired with wines uniquely matched to each course. Knowledgeable Sommelier Irby Wood was on hand to describe each pairing.

The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos sponsors the annual fundraiser to help support its community service projects and educational scholarships. Last year’s event raised more than $5,500.
