Atomic City Children’s Theater are proud to present their production of Disney The Lion King KIDS. All of your favorite characters from the classic Disney film and hit Broadway musical are here – Simba, Nala, Scar, Pumbaa, Timon, Zazu, and of course, the Rafikis!

Disney The Lion King Jr. will be presented this Friday evening at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pinon Elementary School.

ACCT’s Co-Directors, Daren Savage and Kelsey Cline are very proud of their young cast. Savage noted, “Our cast is made up of 3rd and 4th grade students from each elementary school and are a very talented group of young performers.”

Savage noted, “Our Student Director program continues to be a successful part of our after-school theater program. We had 5 Student Directors for this show, bringing our total number of student directors for this year’s Student Director program to 12.

It’s been very gratifying to watch the experienced students help younger students become accomplished performers.”

ACCT Student Directors learn firsthand what it’s like to choreograph, stage and rehearse scenes and musical numbers.

The cast and directors would like to invite everyone out to support our 3rd/4th grade students. As always, Atomic City Children’s Theater shows are free to the public.
