RED RIVER — Aspencade, formerly known as the Red River Folk Festival at Aspencade, is set to make its much-anticipated comeback in 2023, bringing a fresh face to the beloved boutique festival.
Taking place over four days at the peak of the aspen trees changing to their vibrant autumn hues, this unique event promises a memorable experience for music lovers and craft enthusiasts alike.
With live music filling the crisp fall air and artisan craft vendors lining the park, Aspencade showcases the very best of New Mexico and Southwest craftsmanship. Visitors can expect to find a wide range of beautiful works, carefully curated to highlight the rich artistry of the region.
“The name, Aspencade, truly reflects the essence of our festival. We wanted to emphasize the magical experience of witnessing the captivating aspen trees as they transform into a magnificent array of colors,” says Max Khudiakov, Director of Tourism & Economic Development for the Town of Red River. “This event is not just about music, but about celebrating the beauty of nature and the rich artistic traditions of our region.”
Located in the picturesque town of Red River, New Mexico, Aspencade provides a stunning backdrop with its breathtaking mountain scenery. Festival -goers will have the opportunity to soak in the beauty of the landscape while enjoying the sounds of talented musicians from near and far.
