COUNTY News:

The project team on the Ashley Pond Park Improvements Project has met with the contractor and conducted a “substantial completion walk through” of the site.

Several panals of the construction area fencing have been removed to allow public access, and complete removal of the fence should be completed today. The Duck Buddies will return the ducks to the pond within the next couple of days.

Final completion for the entire project is set for no later than Nov. 11. The County will host a grand opening event around mid-May, when the wetland plantings will be completed—it is too late in the season to put them in now.
