Artemis Art Management Manifests ‘Artivism’

AAMI News:

SANTA FE — Artemis Art Management Inc., a New Mexico company headquartered in Santa Fe, announced its launch Monday with its first featured activist artist (“Artivist”) Jacqueline Rudolph.

Jacqueline will be exhibiting samples of her impressionist portraits, sculptures, and artwear at Art Santa Fe at the Sweeney Convention Center July 11-13. As a Latina artivist, Jacqueline’s artwork expresses her societal values and support for social change. Several of her series, including “I AM”, Icon Warriors, and Women Warriors, will be displayed at the show, along with examples of her winged sculptures and activist leather jackets, such as the Warrior jacket worn by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Artemis Art Management Inc. (“AAMI”)’s founders believe in Empowering Change Through Art, and the company is committed to fostering an environment where Artivists can amplify their voices and inspire social justice.

The founders – Ava Stern, CEO; Jacqueline Rudolph, President; and Joyce Bogosian, CMO, also founded a NM non-profit named HER2 Foundation, to bring attention to the plight of women with breast cancer by exhibiting Jacqueline’s “Women Warriors” series of celebrities who have survived the disease in breast cancer clinics around the country. A percentage of AAMI’s profits will be donated to HER2 Foundation, and along with other donations, will be used to provide Navigators to help women going through the complex treatment process.

“The arts have long held the power to inspire, provoke, and mobilize,” Ava commented, adding: “Creativity has always been a catalyst for transformation. Today, in an era marked by global challenges and social and economic inequities, the concept of ‘Artivism’ — the fusion of art and activism — is emerging as a potent force for social change. We believe Artivism can unite artists and activists to ignite critical thinking toward solutions for urgent issues, and provide a platform for unheard voices,” she continued. “Artivists not only shine a light on injustice but also inspire a vision of what can be achieved when creativity meets courage.”

About her own art, Jacqueline explained: “From my earlier to current bodies of work, the theme of empowered spirit remains consistent, and all embody a majestic beauty that emanates from vulnerability, courage, and a strength of grace.” See her work at www.ArtemisArtManagement.com.
