LACM News:
Artist Imelda Klingler is featured at the art opening in the café of the Los Alamos Co+op Market noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28.
Using pallet knives on her acrylic pieces gives Klingler’s work a textured, sculptural feel. All pieces are original, one-of-a-kind artworks, and are available for sale. Klingler’s show will be up at the Co+op Cafe through late February.
Lunch will be available for purchase at the Co+op’s deli hot bar. Saturday’s menu features sweet green chile BBQ chicken, sausage and peppers, mashed potatoes, veggie medley, spicy Thai tofu, rice and a choice of soup. Several items are gluten-free and/or vegetarian-friendly.
The Los Alamos Co+op serves meat and vegetarian breakfast burritos 7 a.m. Monday-Saturday, until they run out. Patrons also may choose from a variety of delicious, healthy food at the hot bar and salad bar 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; hot food items change daily. On Sundays, meet a friend for brunch at the Co+op and enjoy eggs, bacon, potatoes or pancakes along with fresh coffee and espresso.
The Co+op is at 95 Entrada Drive, near the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
