Los Alamos
Having Joe Granville run for County Council is such a breath of fresh air. Joe is a man of the people. He brings experiences and knowledge of life that many people have never even considered.
Joe spent 20 years in the transportation industry, as a driver, operations manager and CEO of High Desert Delivery. In his transportation career, Joe managed payroll, hired and trained new employees, oversaw vehicle maintenance, and addressed transportation safety, which makes him uniquely qualified to address transportation safety issues in our town while understanding how growth will affect roadway infrastructure.
Other advantages Joe brings to the Council are having a child in middle school and volunteering at a K-12 charter school in Española, which gives him insight into other cultures and issues besides Los Alamos.
Joe has spent decades working with and in the building industry. Collaborating with architects, designers, and project teams within the remodeling and solar industries. Joe has worked to serve the community as a member of the Board of Directors at Little Forest Playschool and the Los Alamos Family Council. Joe’s common sense knowledge, his ability to work with a wide range of people and his diverse experiences with solar and remodeling make him the perfect addition to our Council.
His ability to work with others who may differ from his views is also a positive. He even had a climate change denier as one of his solar customers!
Joe brings knowledge of affordable home building and design to a Los Alamos community that has been struggling with the concept for years. Look at the League of Women Voters forum that was recorded on PAC 8.
AND, finally … do not forget that Joe was elected sheriff 8 years ago and had a lower annual budget when he left office than when he took office. VOTE FOR JOE!!
