Annual Hawk To Hilltopper Event At Urban Park May 31 … Let The Famous Shaving Cream War Begin!

 COUNTY News:
 
The Los Alamos County Recreation Division announces the annual Hawk to Hilltopper event noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 31 at Urban Park.
 
The event is a celebration for 8th grade students transitioning to high school. Students will be treated to a BBQ lunch, inflatable toys and the famous shaving cream war.
 
The event will end with the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) hosing off the students after the shaving cream war.
 
The event usually ends around 2 p.m. with parents picking up students at the park.
 
Participants can bring their cans of shaving cream labled with the participant’s name to the Aquatic Center front desk prior to the event and staff will bring the shaving cream to Urban Park.
