Animal Clinic Of Los Alamos Providing Service With Safety Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

From the Animal Clinic of Los Alamos:

In light of recent guidance from state officials regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to reassure you that we at Animal Clinic of Los Alamos are here to serve you and your pets.

Our hospital remains open at this time.

To support the health and safety of you, your pets, and our team members, we have implemented strict intake procedures and updated our health and safety guidelines in direct response to the emergence and evolution of the COVID-19:

  • CALL AHEAD: If you have a scheduled appointment or a pet emergency, please call 505.662.6622 in advance to discuss options and intake procedures;
  • SIGNS/SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19: If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please identify a healthy surrogate to bring your pet to our practice; and
  • NO LOBBY WAITING AREA: We are limiting the number of persons in our lobby to reduce human-to-human contact.

We are aligned with the American Veterinary Medical Association that published a statement on March 17 regarding veterinary hospitals as “essential service” and want to ensure you are supported in this unprecedented time.

We continue tracking and diligently following the guidance set forth by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Caring for you, your pets, and our team members are the cornerstone of our culture. At this time, we’ll need everyone’s help to do that.

Thank you for your help in ensuring the continued good health of our community and our pets.

Sincerely,

Your Petcare Team
