Anderson Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race Sept. 2, 2025

ACRR News: 

Eric Anderson was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runner (ACRR) weekly pace race Tuesday on the Lower Water Canyon Trail in White Rock with 2 seconds off his predicted time. He was also the first-place finisher in the 3-mile distance with a time of 20:58.

Other accurate predictors:

  • Edith Acosta with a 4 second differential;
  • David Thomas recording a 5 second difference;
  • Zeke Wilmot at 8 seconds off; and
  • David Kunsberg with a 14 second differential.

In the 1-mile race:

  • Magda Owczarez was the top finisher recording a 44:06; and
  • Lukas Zavorka with his daughter Aster, 2, was the first male with a time of 44:25.

In the 2-mile race:

  • Catherine Hensley was the best finisher at 34:00.

In the 3-mile race:

  • Sanna Sevanto recorded a 30:58 for first female finisher.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the end of Range Road just past Guaje Pine Cemetery. Head out on Diamond Drive North and take a left on Range Road at the fire station opposite the golf course.

1-mile paved and 2- and 3-mile trail courses will be available.
