ACCT News:

Atomic City Children’s Theater and Los Alamos Public Schools’ Middle Schoolers presented “Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.” last  weekend.

The students had been working on this play since before Christmas. Many current 8th grade students have been participating in ACCT since 5th grade, so this was their “farewell performance” with ACCT.

ACCT is funded by a grant through LAPS. Admission was free, but donations and sales of baked goods raised about $1,000 toward sending young actors to the Junior Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta next January.

ACCT and LAPS 3rd and 4th grade students will perform “Disney’s Jungle Book, Jr.” in two performances Saturday, March 16.

Admission will be free and goodies to benefit students attending JTF will be sold so mark your calendars!
