As this year comes to an end, I want to deliver a heartfelt thank you to the many friends and my church families in this community.

For those who do not know, last year I came a little too close to heaven’s gate, as I suffered complications from spine reconstruction surgeries. Friends and family came to be by my side in the hospital and I was not even aware.

I spent this year learning to walk again while taking care of my little one, as a single parent. I want to thank everyone who brought meals and other help as needed, and even those just checking in on us. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives.
