ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico State Fair is excited to announce a first-of-its-kind music festival, Soundwave NM, scheduled to take place during the 2025 New Mexico State Fair Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, inside Tingley Coliseum. Entrance into Soundwave NM will be included with the price of Fair admission.
“The New Mexico State Fair is the premier showcase of New Mexico-based musical talent,” Fair general manager Dan Mourning said. “Soundwave NM is just another avenue for us to show off the outstanding talent in our great State. Tingley Coliseum will be rocking, making this a must-attend event!”
Soundwave NM is set to feature some of the top New Mexico-based talent in a festival setting. This event is the natural evolution of the Fair’s longstanding commitment to promoting New Mexico-based musicians. This event will be structured like a music festival with six musical acts taking the stage back-to-back inside Tingley Coliseum.
The lineup is as follows, based on order of appearance, with doors opening at 11 a.m., Sept. 7:

- Issac Aragon and the Healing
- Hooks & the Huckleberries
- Charlie Overbay
