MOWW Presents Silver Patrick Henry Award To Los Alamos Police Chief Dino Sgambellone For Outstanding Service

The MG Franklin E. Miles Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) at its June 17 dinner presented the Silver Patrick Henry Award to Los Alamos Police Chief Dino Sgambellone in recognition of his outstanding service to the community and the Nation.

Proclamation:

Whereas: Dino Sgambellone retired from the Mansfield, Ohio Police Department in 2013 to become the Chief of Police in Los Alamos, New Mexico and,

Whereas: Chief Sgambellone focused the department on preparing, achieving, and maintaining National Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) with the process including substantial policy review and development as well as maintenance of multiple community  partnerships, and

Whereas: The Department earned this distinction with 100% compliance of applicable standards with multiple inspections, and 

Whereas: Chief Sgambellone continues to lead and position the Los Alamos County Police Department to sustain and improve upon a high level of service delivery well into the future,

Therefore: The MG Franklin E. Miles Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars presents this award to the Los Alamos County Police Department Chief Dino Sgambellone in recognition of his outstanding service to the community and the Nation.
