Beef & Leaf Announces Weekly Prix Fixe Dinner Menu

Beef & Leaf News:
Beef & Leaf, at 3801 Arkansas Ave., is offering a prix fixe dinner menu of 3 courses and a carafe of wine that changes every week – a special dinner menu offered in addition to the regular dinner menu.

Beef and Leaf Cafe was created on the dream of taking the comfort food offered at Pig + Fig Cafe, and upscaling it to a new level of dining.

Executive Chef and Owner Laura Crucet’s vision was to take the experience of her Pig + Fig Cafe wine dinners, and offer it all week, year round.

As a result, Beef & Leaf Cafe provides an upscale dining experience, all while maintaining the same warm atmosphere and familiar food from her first restaurant. 

Prix Fixe Dinner This week:

First Course

  • Lobster Newberg Lemon and butter-poached lobster, sherry cream, puff pastry, seasonal greens
  • Walnut & Chevre Salad Wild arugula, dijon vinaigrette, candied walnuts, crumbled goat cheese, crispy

Second Course

  • Cherry-Glazed Duck Cherry-glazed confit of Moulard duck leg, sautéed fava beans, red-skin mashed potatoes
  • Summer Beef Bourguignon Braised beef tips with squash, zucchini, pearl onions, fresh herbs and bacon; crispy potatoes, baby carrots

Third Course

  • Flourless Chocolate Torte, Warm flourless chocolate torte, vanilla bean gelato, fresh fruit
  • Cherry Almond Tart Buttery tart shell baked with frangipane, cherries and sliced almonds; cinnamon creme

Beef & Leaf’s weekly Prix Fixe Dinner is offered at $50 per person, and includes 3 courses, which change weekly, + 250ml carafe of sommelier selection.
