NHCC Visual Art Museum To Reopen April 25

The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is thrilled to announce that the Visual Art Museum will reopen to the public Friday, April 25, following a closure caused by a water leak in the museum Jan. 16.

No artwork in the building was damaged, and the NHCC is grateful to the construction and repair teams who worked to quickly contain the leak and repair the building after the incident.

The NHCC Visual Art Museum, located at 1701 4th Street SW.

The museum reopens to the public at 10 a.m., Friday, April 25. After reopening, the museum will return to its normal hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for New Mexico residents, and free for youth ages 16 and under.

The reopening coincides with the opening of a brand-new art exhibition, Voces del Pueblo: Artists of the Levantamiento Chicano in New Mexico. Check out this new exhibition featuring a group of New Mexican artists who were among the earliest generation of Chicana and Chicano activists in the state on your next visit!
