SALA Los Alamos Event Center is proud to announce a week filled with diverse activities for the community, featuring fitness classes, movie screenings, special events, and a unique opportunity for teens to share their feedback. The events, running from April 14–20, promise to offer something for everyone—whether you’re looking to enhance your wellness, discover something new in the arts, or enjoy a fun evening out.

Feldenkrais Movement Classes: A Journey to Body Awareness
11 a.m., Monday, April 14 & 6:30 a.m., Friday, April 18

Experience the gentle yet powerful Feldenkrais Method, a movement-based practice that improves flexibility, reduces stress, and promotes body awareness. These sessions offer a perfect way to start or end your week feeling rejuvenated.

Teen Activities Feedback Session
4–5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 15 

Calling all high schoolers! If you’re feeling bored in Los Alamos, now’s your chance to make your voice heard. Join us for a free pizza and soda and share your thoughts about the types of activities and events you’d like to see in our community. This session is hosted in collaboration with Los Alamos JJAB.

National Theatre Live: Fleabag
7 p.m., Thursday, April 17

Join us for a special screening of Fleabag, the critically acclaimed one-woman play by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. This live theater performance, captured by National Theatre Live, offers a raw and hilarious look into the life of the complex character, Fleabag. Sponsored by Los Alamos Arts Council.

New Movie Screenings – A Minecraft Movie, The King of Kings, and Rule Breakers

April 18–20
Enjoy a mix of family-friendly and classic films with our new reels lineup:

  • A Minecraft Movie – Friday & Saturday at 1 p.m. & 7 p.m. | Sunday at 2 p.m.
  • The King of Kings – Friday & Saturday at 2 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. | Sunday at 3 p.m.
  • Rule Breakers – Friday & Saturday at 4 p.m. | Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Tokyo Nights: Anime Lounge – Featuring: Weathering With You
8–10 p.m. Friday, April 18

Anime lovers, come join us for a special screening of Weathering With You, a stunning anime feature from the creators of Your Name. Enjoy an immersive anime theater experience, themed drinks, snacks, and a relaxing lo-fi lounge atmosphere. A $5 cover charge will help support local nonprofits. Wine Pairing Tasting with El Alamo Winery
1 p.m., Saturday, April 19

Join us for a wine tasting experience like no other. Sample award-winning wines from El Alamo Winery while supporting Friends of the Senior Centers of Los Alamos (FOSC). Tickets are available for a $30 donation per person.

Classic Cinema: The Elephant Man
6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 19

SALA will be screening the iconic film The Elephant Man, a classic that explores the story of John Merrick, a man living with severe physical deformities in Victorian England. This screening is sponsored by Wiemann Wealth.
