The community is invited to attend a “joyful, family-friendly celebration of the natural world—and the inspiring local projects making Los Alamos an even better place to live, play and explore!”
The Yes! In My Backyard! (YIMBY) Film Festival, sponsored by Shimano and local businesses, features a 90-minute program of adventurous, lighthearted short films—from extreme bike stunts and trail-loving dogs to stunning environmental shorts spanning Iceland to the Amazon.
Enjoy heartwarming tales of outdoor family adventures, plus a special short film by local filmmaker Kyle Dickman—which premiered at the 2024 Banff Mountain Film Festival—about efforts to save the last giant sequoias. Plus, some pretty sweet gear giveaways!
