COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Public Works Department in collaboration with the Transportation Board invites residents to attend a public input meeting regarding the upcoming Denver Steels Phase II Improvements Project.

The project involves full reconstruction of 36th Street between Orange Street and Ridgeway Drive. It also includes connecting roads Pueblo Drive and Questa Drive between 36th Street and 35th Street, as well as Ridgeway Drive between 37th Street and 35th Street.

The scope of work consists of replacing the existing base course and asphalt surface, targeted replacement of curb and gutter, valley gutters, sidewalk, drive pads, and ADA improvements. This project is a joint project with the County Department of Public Utilities and involves the replacement of aging waterlines and fire hydrants.

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m., April 3, 2025 at the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
