COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Parks and Open Space Division invites community members to participate in a virtual workshop to discuss the reorganization of the Open Space & Trails Management Plan. This is an opportunity for residents to engage in the planning process and provide input on proposed changes to streamline and enhance the management of open space and trails. The workshop is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, and will be held online via Zoom.

During the workshop, attendees will learn about updates made to reconcile redundant and
conflicting strategies across previous planning documents. Additionally, new strategies designed
to improve the functionality and sustainability of open spaces and trails will be presented.
