Latinx Games Festival Brings Video Game Arcade And Industry Opportunities To National Hispanic Cultural Center

The 6th Annual Latinx Games Festival three-day festival kicks off 6-9 p.m., Sept. 20 with an opening ceremony in the NHCC Bank of America Theatre, featuring industry speakers, presentations, and more. B-roll and interview opportunities will be available, and members of the media are encouraged to attend. 

Then, head back to the Center Sept. 21 for a full day of festivities! The NHCC Grand Hall will be converted into a vintage video game arcade featuring classic favorites and hard-to-find gems. As part of the festival, the Center will also host an e-sports tournament with games like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Mortal Kombat 1, and a pop-up exhibition about the history of Latinos in the video game industry.

There will be panel discussions and opportunities to network and break into the rapidly growing industry throughout the weekend. More information on the festival is available HERE
