BPU Meeting On Consideration Of Solar Rule Updates Location Has Changed To Los Alamos Nature Center

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is proposing changes to Rule E-5 under its rules and regulations. Rule E-5 covers standards for interconnection of customer-owned rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems.

A detailed question-and-answer document on the changes and the impacts for customers with PV systems, as well as customers without solar panels, is online at ladpu.com/solar2.

This item will be presented to the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) for approval 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 in the planetarium at the Los Alamos Nature Center, 2600 Canyon Road, (Council Chambers is being used for early voting).
