Say ‘I Do On 4/22’ At Meow Wolf

MEOW WOLF News:

SANTA FE — Due to the success of Meow Wolf Santa Fe’s “Take the Leap” promotion earlier this year, the acclaimed immersive art exhibition is offering another opportunity to get hitched inside the maximalist exhibit, this time on a palindromic date.

“Say ‘I Do’ on 4/22” is Meow Wolf’s alternative to a drab courthouse wedding for adventurous spirits who want to exchange vows surrounded by kaleidoscopic portals and otherworldly neon lights.

To participate, couples simply need to purchase a general admission ticket and show up with their love and excitement. Promotion hours are 12-6 p.m. on April 22, 2024.

An ordained Meow Wolf character will be on-site to officiate ceremonies, making each union a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

“Sixteen couples showed up to Meow Wolf to proclaim their love to each other on Leap Day,” Sales and Marketing Director Kate Daley said. “We were thrilled by the response and touched that so many folks wanted to make their union official here at Meow Wolf Santa Fe. So, we found another fun and unforgettable date – 4/22/24 – for couples to be legally married inside the exhibit.”

To commemorate the special day, each betrothed couple will receive a Meow Wolf-designed wedding acknowledgement. Couples are responsible for obtaining a marriage license from the County Clerk’s office prior to the event.

NOTE* The marriage license must be recorded with the County Clerk’s Office within 90 days from the date of marriage.*

*The marrying couple is responsible for complying with state marriage laws. A marriage license may be obtained at the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office located at 100 Catron St, Santa Fe, NM 87501. For more information, including requirements for obtaining a marriage license, contact the County Clerk’s office by calling 505.986.6280 or online.
