The Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Macaulay Library archive has amassed 2 million recordings of sounds from the natural world and the community is invited to help celebrate this milestone.

During this session the Lab will highlight the many vital contributors from the global sound recording community. They will also explore the diverse uses of these sound recordings for research, conservation, education and public engagement.

Learn about the pivotal role of sound in understanding and preserving our natural world. Participants may even be inspired to contribute your own sound recordings to this invaluable archive.
