Get ready for a week filled with exciting shows and events at SALA!

Starting Wednesday, March 1, SALA’s regular After School Program will be in full swing. Kids can enjoy arcade games and even bring their own devices to play digital games on the big screen. But that’s not all! SALA also will be hosting “Los Alamos Got Talent” – a talent contest for kids to showcase their skills and win fantastic prizes!

Don’t miss out on the last chance to catch the heartwarming movie “The Whale” 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. This movie is sure to leave you feeling inspired and uplifted.

On Thursday, SALA will be celebrating International Women’s Month with the program “Parallel Cinema”. The movie of the day will be “Harriet” – a powerful film that tells the true story of an American hero.

Friday marks the premiere of the highly anticipated movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania.” This action-packed movie is sure to be a hit with audiences of all ages. Catch it 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday is jam-packed with events for the whole family. Start the day off with “Pjs and Cartoons” – SALA’s weekly program that includes breakfast and cartoons, now is even better than before! The theater has a brand new space, complete with comfortable couches and tables, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for the whole family. This time, the event will be free for the entire community thanks to sponsor, Team Teddie Sue. The movie of the day will be “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” a fun and exciting film that will keep the kids entertained.

Saturday also features “Classics” themed “Women’s Month”. SALA will be screening the 1933 classic “Little Women,” a timeless story of sisterhood and perseverance. With so many amazing events and movies, there’s something for everyone at the theater this week.
