FBI Offers Reward For Information On Ripped Jeans Robber

FBI News:

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Ripped Jeans Robber, who robbed Bank of Albuquerque Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at 3301 Coors Blvd. NW Suite J, in the Ladera Shopping Center.

At approximately 11:20 a.m., the unknown male walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Hispanic
  • Height: 5’5″
  • Clothing: Dark hooded jacket, sunglasses, red bandana, blue jeans with holes, white sneakers.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at 505.889.1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 505.843.STOP.

Note: Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
