Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced today the details of the 2023 Gubernatorial Oath of Office ceremony, as well as the Inaugural Reception.
Both events will take place Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 and are open to the public.
The Gubernatorial Oath of Office ceremony will be held at the Lensic Theater in Santa Fe, with doors opening at 10 a.m. New Year’s Day. Following the Inauguration Ceremony, there will be an Inaugural Reception hosted at the New Mexico State Capitol. The reception doors will open at 2 p.m. Members of the public who are interested in attending either event can RSVP at MLGInaugural.com.

Lujan Grisham’s 2023 Inauguration,” Inaugural Co-Chair Victor Reyes said. “This inauguration will be a celebration of the historic progress that Governor Lujan Grisham has delivered for every New Mexico family the past four years, and a promise of the bright future to come in the Governor’s second term.”

Gov. Lujan Grisham and Lt. Gov. Morales’s second inauguration is themed “Launching New Mexico into the Future.” The slogan emphasizes how in her second term, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will build on the historic investments she delivered in her first four years in office to achieve new opportunities for each New Mexico family to thrive.
