Los Alamos
Regarding Gary Stradling’s beautifully written letter on his failed election bid for the County Council:
Saying nothing of substance that you can be held accountable for but saying it beautifully is a trait of those who move up the career ladder in government jobs.
Gary Stradling is telling us, in quoting Bill Clinton’s “Never give up” quote, that he plans to be back. That’s why I’m writing this letter.
After the election, he does finally tell us that he believes in the rule of law. Then, he continues to state, “The many court cases that were dismissed for lack of standing, etc., without a public examination of the allegations, and a chance for cross examination, did not resolve these issues.”
So, it seems he believes in the rule of laws he agrees with. Having standing is, I believe, a rule of law.
He trashes the brave bi-partisan members of the Jan. 6 House Panel, some of whom risked their political careers to get at the truth, as partisan accusers.
I agree with Stradling that media across the board has moved more partisan. But the media that is NOT infotainment (FOX), or some anonymous Q-Anon gossip-monger, but the media that still professes to be news, as well as Trump’s own Justice Department, and Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency is unanimous that the 2016 election was “the most secure in American history.”
So, congratulations, Los Alamos, to the 90 percent of you who refused to be straddled by the empty, pretty speechifying.
