WATROUS — Fort Union National Monument announces that its 2022 Historic Fashion Show will be held Saturday, July 16.

During this event, visitors will learn about life on the Santa Fe Trail and at Fort Union through the lens of 40 years of fashion.

The Historic Fashion Show will be held indoors in Fort Union’s newly renovated museum space.

Show times are 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. No reservations are required.

This program will highlight the class, economic, and cultural factors that influenced the changing styles of the mid-1800s. It will also help dispel some fashion myths and give visitors a firsthand look at some of the most unique forms of expression of the era.
