SANTA FE — The Cannabis Control Division of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department at 9 a.m. today, Dec. 30, will hold a virtual public hearing to gather input on proposed rules for cannabis marketing, advertising, packaging and labeling, as well as edible and topical product safety.
In accordance with the Cannabis Regulation Act, passed by the Legislature earlier this year, the CCD is putting rules in place to support a thriving medical-cannabis program and adult-use cannabis industry in New Mexico.
Final rules are in place for producers, manufacturers, retailers and couriers and the CCD is issuing licenses across business types.
