NMALSD News:
The New Mexico Aging And Long-Term Services Department (NMALSD) will host a virtual state conference, Nov. 17 and 18.
During the conference, local providers will host information booths 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the Betty Ehart Senior Center at 1101 Bathtub Row.
The conference is free to all New Mexico residents.
Computers will be available for community members to watch the conference at the Betty Ehart Senior Center and the White Rock Senior Center at 137 Longview Dr.

During the conference, Los Alamos playwright Bob Benjamin will host a performance of “Hunker Down” 12:20-1 p.m. Nov. 17 with actors Duches Dale and Donald Converse. This romantic comedy looks at seniors coping with and striving to overcome loneliness early in the pandemic.
