I want to publicly voice my support for Erin Green for school board, district 5.

I agree with Erin’s platform, but I also love Erin. She’s generous, accepting, humane, compassionate, and thoughtful. She is wonderful. She’s exactly the kind of person I want as a community leader.

She will do anything for her puppies and kittens. She plants lots of trees. She volunteers her time to her church, Girl Scouts, our school board and many other community groups. She has publicly supported, through her work, victims of sexual violence. She is training to be a mental health counselor.

She has taught me, through her example, how to be more openly affectionate toward people in my life. This has helped me feel less alone. I have also learned from Erin to be more positive in how to talk to myself and in how I look at my body. This has helped me be kinder to everyone.

I believe Erin will represent and stand up for all the children in the school district fairly and empathetically, no matter what they look like, what religion they practice, where they’re from, or to whom they’re attracted. I’m proud to live in a district led by Erin Green.
