PAC 8 News:

PAC 8 Community Media Center is offering exciting new classes this summer:

Drone Flight & Videography – FAA Certified Remote Pilot Jean Gindreau will lead the course. Students will learn drone flying skills, flight maneuvers, how to get good video footage from a drone and video editing in this course. 

GoPro Video for 4th – 8th graders – Students will use the new Hero 9 Black, learn Time Warp, Time Lapse, Slo Mo, Live Burst. Also, editing with Adobe Premiere.

Beginning/Intermediate Video 2nd-6th graders – Students will make a video for TikTok. TikTok is a video-sharing social networking service. Students will make a  short-form video, from genres like dance, comedy and education, that have a duration from 15 seconds to one minute. Students also will learn how to use a Smartphone Gimbal Handheld Stabilizer.

Class size is limited to six students per teacher. To sign up, call PAC 8 at 505.662.7228 or email pac8@losalamos.com or text 505.920.5845 and indicate which sessions you would like. Classes cost $110 each and there is an early bird sign up discount if you sign up before May 19.

PAC 8 will be observing COVID safety procedures developed from the CDC and NMDOH guidelines and recommendations for Youth Programs.
