New Mexico Counties News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico Counties and State Auditor Brian Colón presented Bernalillo County with a special award in recognition of good financial management in awarding CARES Act funds.

In addition, Bernalillo County stepped up to share its CARES Act experience and information on funding with the other 32 counties in New Mexico.

The county showed excellence in taking leadership during the pandemic and working to gather information and knowledge necessary to assist in compliance regarding critical funding from the federal government.
