PEEC News:
Century Bank is again sponsoring the Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s (PEEC) showing of the Backcountry Film Festival from the Winter Wildlands Alliance.
The screening is 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, with the streaming link live for 72 hours for ticket-holders.
And exciting news just in! Thanks to Century Bank, ticket holders will receive one free drink from the Pajarito Brewpub and Grill plus a discount code for 15 percent off their food and drink order. The code can be used any time during the BCFF screening weekend: Thursday, Jan. 21 through Monday, Jan. 25.
For more information and the link to ticket sales, visit www.peecnature.org. Tickets to stream the films are $15 per individual and $30 per household.
The Backcountry Film Festival, now in its 16th year, will feature its usual lineup of inspiring and exciting films celebrating human-powered snow sports. And proceeds from the event will get local children outside on snowshoes (when it’s safe again) and provide snow-science field trips.
The ever-popular raffle is back as well, and raffle tickets may be purchased by anyone this year, not just event attendees. Raffle ticket holders will have a chance to win new pair of skis, gift cards to local restaurants, outdoor gear, a night at The Blake at Taos Ski Valley, and more at this PEEC fundraiser.
Raffle tickets are just $2 each and can be purchased on PEEC’s online store, available from their home page: www.peecnature.org.
Thanks to Century Bank, this year’s event promises to be as fun as ever, just in a new format.
