Canceled: CDAB Meeting Scheduled For Monday

COUNTY News:

The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) scheduled for Monday, March 16 has been canceled.

The decision was made after consulting with Vice Chair Catherine Ozment and Council Liaison James Robinson. The reason behind cancelling the meeting is COVID-19 concerns.

“While I realize the risk right now may not be high, I was not willing to potentially risk the health of board members and their families,” CDAB Chair Aaron Walker said. “In my opinion, the tasks we had upcoming on our agenda can afford to wait a month in order to prioritize health and safety measures.”

About the CDAB:

The Los Alamos County Council created this board in May 2018 in order to make recommendations to County Council regarding the development, implementation, and enforcement of County property maintenance codes within the corporate boundaries of the County.

The first Meeting was held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 in Room 110 of Los Alamos County Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
