The State has declared a change to our meal programs, effective immediately we will not be offering our congregate meal on-site at either center.

Instead we will offer a drive-thru option 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and members must be registered by 10 a.m. as you would for a daily meal.

You will be greeted by friendly staff, asked to sign for pick up and given a meal in a sealed tray. You have the option to request additional frozen meals and/or shelf staples. This will allow you to limit trips and reduce the need to go to the grocery store.

Home Delivered Meals will continue as normal. Those who are 60 and older, receive a free membership and if you would like to join, are welcome to sign up at either site, not during the lunch hour.

Today, Friday March 13, will be our first drive-thru offering and we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity. Your support allows our staff to stay employed, during this time of transition.

The dates for this service will continue through April 30, or as the state declares the need.

We will be able to transition members to the home Delivered Meal program, as we regain our footing next week. I welcome your calls at 505.662.8920 or emails at Director@losalamosseniorcenter.com. Thank you for your understanding, Bernadette
