Local Residents Take Gold At Arizona Senior Olympics

SPORTS News:

White Rock residents Victor Valenzuela (#55) and Chris Ortega (#30) took Gold Saturday, Feb. 15 in the 70-74 year age group basketball tournament at the Arizona Senior Olympics.

Valenzuela and Ortega were joined with other members from the Four Corners area for the multi-day event held in Phoenix, Ariz.

These are the qualifying games for the 2021 National Senior Games.

About Arizona Senior Olympics

The ​​Arizona Senior Olympics is a program of the Arizona Lifelong Fitness Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and implementing fitness programs and activities for people 50 years and better. The Games are open to anyone over 50 as Dec. 31, 2020, regardless of residency and are held in venues throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
