COMMUNITY News: 

A dramatic reading of  “Of Butterflies and Roses,” by Claudia I. Haas will take place at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. A reading also will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the White Rock Senior Center.

‘Of Butterflies and Roses,’ takes place after a memorial service for Clara and Laurel’s mother is done, and the last guest has left.

Laurel and Clara are now picking up the last pieces of comfort they can muster in their newly-orphaned world.

The dramatic reading features Mandy Marksteiner and Cassandra Bowman, and is directed by Tomás Farish.
