Fabian Lepsch, 2, of Los Alamos and his grandmother had a fantastic visit Monday at Firestation 4. After meeting the fire station chief he was lead on a tour through the station by firefighters Allen and Josh. Both firefighters were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in showing Fabian how fire engines work and what they do. They placed Fabian in the driver seat and he seemed amazed. They introduced Fabian to the large firetruck, the grass firetruck and the ambulance. They told Fabian that they were both firefighters and that Allen is a Paramedic and Josh is an EMT. Firestation number 4 covers the area from Los Alamos High School passed the golf course, North Mesa and Barranca Mesa. Fabian was presented with a firefighters hat. Following Fabian‘s tour of the fire station he returned home and was fighting fires the rest of the day. Courtesy photo
