Purgatory Resort in Durango, Colo. has received seven inches of snow since midnight and more is in the forecast today.
Nearly 40 percent of Purgatory’s terrain is now open, with new trails on the backside of the mountain opening today, thanks to the new snow.
Purgatory has received a foot of snow in the past four days.
