CCLA News:
The Christian Church of Los Alamos is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a special family reunion event at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 in Rayburn Hall to recount the old days, remember all the fun that’s been had along the way and share some dessert. Child care will be available.
The celebration continues at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, as former preachers and leaders recount the mighty things that God has done through the years. Present Pastor Doug Partin will lead this time. At 10:30 a.m. there will be a celebration of what God is doing and where He is leading the congregation. Pastor James Shelburn, wife Holly, (pastor from November 1994-May 1997) will deliver a message about God and how he has blessed the church. Pastor Lloyd Dunn, wife Kay, (pastor from April 1964-November 1967) will lead the communion meditation. Music ministry will be led by Associate Pastor Ben Partin. Following these services there will be an All Church “Pot-Providence” Dinner.
