LAPS News:

The Los Alamos High School Career and Trade Fair will be held this Friday, March 27 from 8:40 am – 3:30 pm in the Automotive Shop. Over 25 employers representing various career fields will be in attendance to meet with LAHS students.

Students will have the opportunity to meet with electricians, restaurant owners, machinists, firefighters, police officers as well as representatives from UNM-LA and Northern New Mexico College during this all-day event.

“This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about careers in the trades,” said Scott Pomeroy, who teaches auto shop, along with Micah Church. “It’s also a chance for these employers who are looking for students to hire as interns as well as for summer jobs and potential longer-term positions.”
