Scene from the final day of skiing for the 2026 season today at Pajarito Mountain Ski Area. Spring conditions have been melting the snow quickly so today will be the final day of the season at Pajarito Mountain. But it’s not the end of the season without a Skiesta, Pajarito’s annual end of winter celebration (going on 80 years)! This year’s Skiesta is noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21. Enjoy an afternoon on the deck with live music from DK and the Affordables, great mountain views, and good company. Food service will be available on the deck, and this year the event will be BYOB, so feel free to bring those favorite beverages to enjoy responsibly. The mountain will not be open for skiing operations, so swap out the ski and snowboard boots and bring dancing shoes. Courtesy photo
