Chris Gallegos

It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher (Chris) Gallegos announces that he passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on February 21. He was surrounded by his family.

While planning for a church service is underway, the Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization is graciously hosting a memorial service on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. The 4-5:30 p.m. service welcomes anyone from the community who would like to share this delicate time with the family.

Chris is survived by his wife, Susan Gallegos, son Jason Gallegos and daughter Melissa Gallegos.

A more detailed biography of Chris’ life will be presented when the church service is scheduled.

Chris was a former member of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam. He is being lovingly tended by Rivera Funeral Home.
