CONCERT News:

High Desert Winds Santa Fe will present its Winter 2026 Concert at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at St. Francis Auditorium, New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave. in Santa Fe.

This concert features High Desert Wind’s own Leroy Medina, soloist on Ewazen’s Concerto for Bassoon and Wind Orchestra.

Other selections include:

• O Magnum Mysterium by Lauridsen;
• The Wind and the Lion by Goldsmith;
• Fantasies on a Theme by Haydn by Dello Joio; and
• The New Mexico premiere of Kauymari by Gabriella Ortiz.

Admission is FREE, with donations gratefully accepted.
